About the Food Services Ministry
  • At the Trinity United Methodist Church,  the Food Service Ministries purpose is to use the vehicle of food to feed the Kingdom by providing excellence in quality and service to all we serve, to demonstrate Christian service according to Colossians 3:23 — "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men" — and to represent the example of Christ to team members and volunteers.

Alpha

Alpha is a unique program, and along with this program comes a variety of unique menu's.  The Trinity Food Service Director and Staff choose weekly from the freshest and most seasonal ingredients to prepare signature dishes that keep ALPHA attendee's anticipating each week great meals.  We often create these menu's after visiting our local produce providers the day before the dinner.  We strive to post these menu's each week on our website, but we always commit the following to each week’s meal.

Every ALPHA Dinner will include:

  • An Abundant Salad Bar, made with the freshest locally grown produce
  • A Main Entrée, that usually includes a Meat Protein
  • A Starch and Fresh Vegetable Dishes, which are completely vegetarian
  • Freshly Baked Bread
  • A House Baked Dessert
