The Longest Night is a service of scripture, stories, special music, silent reflection and healing prayer. It's a time to recognize that Christmas can be a bittersweet time of the year. So on the longest night, we invite you to experience a meditative worship service that takes time for remembering, sharing our hurting places with God, and preparing our hearts for the coming of Christ. Join us on December 21st at 7:00pm in the Chapel to hear scripture, offer prayers for healing and wholeness, and to hear song that acknowledges that God's presence is for those who mourn, for those who grieve, for those who struggle.
The thrill of hope...the weary world rejoices...a new and glorious morn. These lines from a beautiful old carol sound like they could have been scripted for our world today. All services from 4:30 pm on will have candle lighting and communion.

Jesus said, "Follow me." Many of us want to be followers of Jesus, but are we just fans? A fan is "an enthusiastic admirer". But fans don't have a deep, growing friendship with the object of their admiration. "not a fan" will challenge us to consider what it really means to be a follower of Jesus. It will suggest ways each of us can take an honest look at our own relationship with Jesus and decide if maybe we want to go deeper into this idea of follower....to follow Christ with greater devotion and truly become, not a fan. Childcare is available with a reservation.
