LWI Nicaragua Well Drilling (June 9-16, 2012)

|
The objectives of the trip are to drill a water well, teach hygiene, interact and encourage villagers (especially the children) and work with God in a way that is totally different from what you experience in the United States. The trips are not only about bringing clean water and the Gospel but also forming a relationship with the village, the in-country staff and the team. These trips are truly a life-changing experience.
LWI drill trips consist of 12 people: 8 drillers and 4 hygiene team facilitators. Both women and men are welcome to be a part of the drill team; however, due to cultural differences and sensitive health content, LWI only allows women to be a part of the hygiene team.
Cost: $1,700, Deposit: $250. Scholarships (up to $500) and fundraising opportunities are available if financial assistance is needed. |
