For many women, a breast cancer diagnosis comes with questions and concerns that only other survivors can answer. Please attend a friendly meeting of the Gainesville Breast Cancer resource Group to meet and talk with other breast cancer survivors. Come with questions, experiences, and ideas for others. We want to provide support to others who are going through the diagnosis, treatment, and recovery process.

The love and concern of our church family is brought to those who are ill. Members of this ministry team visit area hospitals and rehab centers on a regular basis. If you, or someone you know is in or will be in the hospital, please notify the Church Office at 376.6615.

Visits are made monthly to people who cannot otherwise leave their homes. Our parish visitor extends the love of the Christ to each one through the sharing, listening, and prayer time. Lives are enriched and blessed by these caring visits. Please contact Pat Kilby at 376-2219.

A Spiritual Cancer Support Group  - This group is open to all cancer patients and survivors as well as their family and friends. Scripture and prayer are vital aspects of this monthly gathering, where people feel safe to discuss treatments, survivorship, healing and wholeness.

Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at TUMC, in the O. Dean Martin Prayer Room at 5:30 pm.
