Trinity's Kitchen’s Mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ committed to making a difference in the world, motivated by a passion for God and a compassion for people. We strive to meet the nutritional, social, aesthetic and economic needs of our diverse congregation and employees with varied and innovative food service programs. |

Food is a vital part of life; we want staff, members and guests to experience camaraderie and fellowship while enjoying a great meal. Church food service has come a long. We believe food is a necessary element to maintain TUMC ministry events and programs. This keeps us extremely busy! We run a professional kitchen staffed with a Food Service Director/Chef trained at Le Cordon Bleu, a Kitchen Assistant and dishwashers – not to mention the volunteers who are just as important as the paid staff. Though the food we serve is of a higher quality than most area restaurants, our real business is people. The availability of food makes it easier for people to come to church on a busy Wednesday evening or stop by for one of our many programs that include dinner to enjoy fellowship with other believers. God has blessed us with the opportunity to reach people with the love and message of Jesus Christ. When God shows his grace to someone through our food service, it makes everything we do worthwhile. |

Primary Goals:
- To Glorify God in all we do through food service
- To establish and fulfill service requirements for all the various ministries of the church
- To provide food and beverage for all events that take place on campus
- To understand and work responsibly within our financial limitations
Standards:
- Friendliness and professionalism with coworkers and staff “You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:39)
- Upholding the highest professional standards in outward display of respect for the kitchen, equipment, food, each other and our primary goals
- Improving skills by learning from each other. “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time” (1 Peter 5:6)
- "Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality." (Romans 12:13)
- "Welcome one another, then, just as Christ welcomed you, in order to bring praise to God." (Romans 15:7)
