The Red Dragon
Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born (Rev. 11: 3, 4)
Is John hallucinating? Is he a lot like William Blake, seeing things no one else sees? Is he like Salvador Dali in his eccentricity? Or is he like George Lucas or Steven Spielberg or J. R. R. Tolkien, or even C. S. Lewis – able to tell a story in such vivid, imaginative imagery that we won’t easily forget it? Maybe all of the above. Do you know who he is talking about yet?
Come to Church on Sunday and you will know…
God bless, Dan
