Audrey Metcalf

Youth & Family Ministry Assistant

Audrey Metcalf is from Washington State but has spent most of her life in Florida. She moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with minors in Latin and Business Administration. She has always been a part of the United Methodist Church and began working within it at 15 years old. She has worked on staff at First United Methodist Church of Okeechobee, as a counselor at the Warren W. Willis United Methodist summer camp, at The Gator Wesley Foundation, and now at Trinity as the Youth & Family Ministry Assistant. Without a doubt, her favorite part of working with youth in her position is getting to go on and plan all of the amazing youth trips: mission trips, mystery trips, day trips, and trips to Universal for Rock the Universe! She has to leave her cat, Chicken Wing, at home during these trips, which gives him ample time to steal and hide her stuff, but all in all, there is something truly awesome about getting to hang out with youth and do fun things for a living.
