2014Alpha

What is Alpha?

The Alpha course is a practical introduction to the Christian faith that gives guests an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. Alpha is fun, relaxed and totally non-pressured (that's probably why over 19 million people around the world have already done it!).

Listen, learn, discuss and discover. Ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is off limits.

How Does it Work?

Each Alpha course session begins with food, followed by a short talk looking at a different aspect of the Christian faith. After that, there is a time for discussion in a friendly small group.

Who is Alpha For?

Alpha is for everyone, especially: those who have given up on church, those wanting to investigate Christianity, those who are new to the Christian faith and those wanting to grow in understanding and faith.

What is the Cost?

There is no charge for the Alpha course, although you will be asked to make a contribution towards dinner.

Life After Alpha

By the end of the Alpha course, new friendships have formed at each table group. Some table groups continue to meet even after the course has ended. In this way, Alpha is a great way to get connected at Trinity. Amazing personal stories come from guests at the end of each course. Some guests become Christians, some find their existing faith has come alive, and often there are guests who share stories about the healings and other changes in their lives. It has been amazing to hear and see how Alpha changes lives!
