Orientation Trinity

We are proud to offer you Trinity's orientation class, which will be offered during the first three Sundays of each month during the 9:40am and 11:00am services in room E212. This 3 part orientation will introduce new comers and refresh current members by addressing core tenets of our faith. If you're interested please register online or at the welcome center. All who attend can expect information about the following:

  • Week One: John Wesley/ Founder of Methodism, Theology of Grace, Prevenient Grace, Justification, Sanctification, Salvation
  • Week Two: The Church as Mission, Discipleship/ What does it mean to be a disciple today?, Baptism, HolyTrinity
  • Week Three: Spiritual Gifts, Gifts Inventory, Trinity Ministries, Mission Opportunities

Becoming a Member of Trinity

  
 

If you have been worshiping with us and are interested in becoming a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, there are three ways to unite with the church:

  • Transfer of membership from another Methodist church
  • Transfer from another denomination
  • By profession of faith


During our worship service, those joining the congregation come forward and are introduced to the congregation. There are three questions that are asked of those who are joining Trinity.

  • Do you accept Jesus as your personal Savior?
  • With the help of God's grace, will you endeavor to live your life according to the teachings of Christ and continue to grow in your faith?
  • Will you support this church with your prayers, your presence, your gifts, and your service?


The congregation responds by promising their encouragement, support, and prayers for the newest members of our congregation.
