2013 Trinity Committees and Chairs

Church Council meets on the 4th Monday of each month. It is Trinity's governing body and is made up of the ministers, some staff, and a cross section of the church membership. Church Council Co-Chairs: Janise McNair and Toby Monaco

Executive Committee meets on the 3rd Monday of each month and is made up of the ministers, some staff, the lay leader, chairs of Finance, SPRC, Trustees, and LRPC, church council officers. Their purpose is to be the bridge of information between these four committees and the Church Council. Executive Committee Co-Chairs: Janise McNair and Toby Monaco

Finance Committee meets on the 2nd Monday of each month. Made up of the ministers, some staff, a representative from the Trustees, the Lay Leader, the Church Council chair, and ten church members, the purpose of this committee is to oversee all financial matters. Long Range Planning Committee meets as needed and is made up of the senior minister and 9-12 church members. Their purpose is to establish a long range plan and monitor it to completion. Chairperson: Ed Osborne (View the Long Range Plan)

Staff Parish Relations Committee meets on the 1st Monday of each month. Made up of the ministers, some staff, a lay delegate to the Annual Conference, the lay leader, the Church Council chair, and nine church members, the purpose of this committee is to oversee all human resources matters. Committee Chair: Champ Lozano

Trustees meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Made up of one minister, two staff reps, the Church Council vice-chair, and nine church members, the purpose of this committee is to oversee all fiscal plant matters. Trustees Committee Chair: Jeff Tennant 

Lay Leadership Committee meets two to three times in the fall to establish the slate of officers and committee members for the next church year; they also meet sporadically during the year as needed to fill a committee position. Committee members are: the ministers, lay leader, as well as nine church members who are nominated from the floor at the annual Charge Conference.
