Jesus said to the disciples: “Allow the children to come to me….I assure you that whoever doesn’t welcome God’s kingdom like a child will never enter it.” As we begin a new school year, we’ll take a lesson from our children and their childlike faith. Sometimes our understanding of God is far too small and so, using some classic children’s books, we’ll look for glimpses of God in the stories we tell our children. In this 4 week message series from August 13 - September 3, we’ll find that God is far bigger than we could ever imagine while being challenged to have childlike faith.

Sometimes life throws us a curveball even when we think we have it all mapped out. Sometimes things just don’t go the way we had planned. That’s what happens again and again for the heroes of our faith in the Book of Genesis. For Noah, Abram, Jacob and Esau, and Joseph the journey is not always what they would have anticipated, yet through it all God seems to make a way. Join us for these summer Sundays to see what message God might have for you as you seek to make sense of your life’s unexpected journey.
