This Week's Assignment, etc.
Retirement and College Planning teaches about the new Roth IRA, about how much to put into the SEPP and 401(k) or 403(B) plans and how to best fund our CHILD'S College Education.

This Week's Homework:

  1. Using the worksheet on page 185 (or the spreadsheet from this web site), calculate your college planning needs
  2. Using the worksheet on page 187, calculate your retirement savings needs
  3. Read Chapter 12 in Financial Peace Revisited ("Of Mice and Mutual Funds") starting with the section titled "Funding those Golden Rocking Chairs"
  4. Start working on your May budget. Bring it to class next week so we can address questions and problems!
