United Methodist Men
PURPOSE
United Methodist Men is a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually and to daily seek His will. Its primary purpose is to bring Jesus Christ into the lives of men and into all their relationships.
MAJOR OBJECTIVES
- To engage in daily Bible study and prayer.
- To bear witness to Christ's way in our daily work and in all personal contacts.
- To engage in some definite Christian service.
- To seek commitment to discipleship.
Many men can testify that Methodist Men fellowships are more than church activities. They are often the force propelling men to full, functioning maturity as Christians. The sacrifices are small when compared to the satisfaction of developing Christian service and fellowship.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Currently Methodist Men meet every third Tuesday evening. The meetings begin with fellowship and supper at 6:30 p.m., followed by a program and a brief business meeting. Activities are generally completed by 8:00 p.m. Watch for meeting/program notices in The Word and the Sunday bulletin.
ACTIVITIES
Trinity's United Methodist Men was organized in 1978. There are opportunities for fellowship, programs and service to meet a wide range of interests and needs. Any interested man is invited to come to the meetings.
