UMYF (United Methodist Youth Fellowship) is for students, grades 6-12, on Sunday nights in the Youth Building from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, except for our once-a-month BIG Event Nights, which lasts until 8:30 pm. Please bring $2 for snack supper each week, and bring $7 on our BIG Event Nights to cover the cost of our activity.
Each night has one of four themes:
- Big Event Nights include events like the city-wide digital scavenger hunt, the ever-popular Sloppy Sunday, Water Wars, Rock Climbing, and more.
- Topic Night – We take an honest look at topics like homelessness, drug abuse, bullying, going green, honesty, and serving others. Guest speakers, hands-on activities, and small group discussion help us to try to discover what the Bible tells about these topics and how we can make a difference in our world.
- Service Night - In addition to our service trips and events, once a month we dedicate a UMYF night to service. Whether we are preparing meals for the homeless, running a canned food drive, helping build a playground for kids or making care boxes for soldiers, we believe that God’s love in action can change people’s lives forever.
- Whollota Chillaxin’ – We open up the sports fields, fire up the video games, pop in a movie, pull out the board games and have a great time of fun, food, and games.
